CHILDREN PROGRAMS
Every week, we help more than 100 children learn, grow, and feel safe. We offer tutoring to help with reading and math, give healthy meals, and organize fun and creative activities. Children also get emotional support, which helps them build confidence and feel cared for.
In 2024, most of our children improved in school, and over 30 families got extra help during hard times. We believe that every child deserves to be supported in every part of their life.
Literacy program
Children spend time reading with staff and volunteers, then take part in fun and creative activities.

Arts and Crafts
A fun and creative space where kids explore their artistic side through drawing, illustration, puppet making, and outdoor crafts.

Outings
From Sky Zone and the Children’s Museum to the Manitoba Museum, the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Zoo, and more. Our outings give kids and youth the chance to explore, learn, and have fun beyond the classroom.

Homework Club
Youth come to complete their homework, assist friends, and receive guidance from staff and volunteers.
They can also be paired with a mentor for year-round academic and social support.
The homework club is led by a bilingual teacher and educational assistants who collaborate with schools and community organizations to promote youth education.
The club operates Monday to Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., during the school year.
